وتابع: “طبيعي إن الإعلامي عندما يكون في قناة فئوية تنتمي لناد، ستشعر من داخلك أنه متحيز لناديه، وأنا من المدرسة التي لا تؤمن بالحياد، مثلًا ركلة جزاء سواء للأهلي أو الزمالك وواضحة مليون بالمائة، لا بد أن تقول وجهة نظرك خاصة وأنت لاعب كرة، وفي النهاية تستعين بخبير تحكيمي”.

وأضاف: “الانتماءات تجعل العاطفة تتغلب على العقل والمنطقية، لكن الإعلامي لا يجب أن تغلب عاطفته على عقله، هناك أشخاص يمسكون العصا من النصف، وهذه مدرسة، لكن أنا لست من هذه المدرسة”.

واختتم: “الجدال جزء من الإعلام، لو أنا معي حكم ويقول وجهة نظره، المفترض إني أجادله لكي أقول رأي المشاهد الذي يختلف مع الحكم، وفي النهاية حالات كثيرة تكون تقديرية بين الحكام”.

They face three sides immediately in and around them between their clash with Liverpool and a final day showdown with Arsenal, with the Toffees taking on Luton Town, Sheffield United and Brentford. Three points against the Hatters in particular is likely to go a long way towards staying in the division.

Though far from mathematically safe, given the fixtures left for each side, Everton would be plenty of people's bet to stay in the division, pulling off a great escape for the third successive season. That is if FFP doesn't hit them a third time.

Everton could be hit with strange punishment – Wyness

Former Everton chief Kieth Wyness has tipped Everton to receive perhaps the strangest FFP punishment ever. Speaking to Football Insider, he claimed that they could receive a never seen before deduction of just half a Premier League point.

This comes because Everton opted to appeal their second points deduction, having successfully appealed their first and seeing their 10 point penalty fall to six.

And Wyness is "very concerned" that this action could see them handed another penalty, which may only consist of a half point but may prove crucial come the final day of the season.

“I think a suspended points deduction would be good,” Wyness said. “I’m still very concerned about where this could go and whether it could be a half-point deduction or if it is cancelled entirely.

“It is still strange and we don’t know where we will end up – half a point could still be key for Everton this season after they took a hit to their goal difference this week.“

A decision is expected before the end of the campaign after the appeal was fast-tracked, but there is no date with destiny for Everton just yet.

England’s Test series in Sri Lanka has been cancelled due to the growing threat of the COVID-19 pandemic and their home series against West Indies in June – as well as the T20 Blast – is under threat, with both events scheduled for a period that the UK government has identified as the likely peak of the virus in the country.Prime Minister Boris Johnson confirmed at a press conference on Thursday afternoon that sporting fixtures will not be banned with immediate effect, but said that such a move is under consideration, which could wreak havoc with the English cricketing summer.England confirmed the series in Sri Lanka had been postponed on Friday, walking off the field on the second day of their tour match against a Board President’s XI moments after the decision was announced.”Due to the Covid-19 pandemic worsening globally, and after discussions with Sri Lanka Cricket, we have today made the decision to return our players to the UK and postpone the forthcoming Test series between Sri Lanka and England,” a statement read.”At this time, the physical and mental wellbeing of our players and support teams is paramount. We will now look to bring them home to their families as soon as possible. Fabrizio Romano has backed that Arsenal wish to acquire an "important" striker for manager Mikel Arteta, as sporting director Edu sets his sights on the likes of Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres among other options.

"Arsenal will sign an important striker this summer, and one of the names on their list is Viktor Gyokeres," said Romano on one of his Daily Briefings recently.

They’ve been following the Sporting Lisbon striker during this remarkable season, but they’re not the only ones. Gyokeres is appreciated by Arsenal, but they still have to decide what they’re going to do, and remember that the Swedish striker has a €100m release clause, with Sporting insisting that they want something very close to this fee, not something like €50 or €60m as reported by some media outlets.

In terms of the "other options" reportedly being targeted, there are many, with the likes of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen and Brentford striker Ivan Toney linked in the last few months alone.

Arsenal have been one of the league's most imperious attacking sides this season, and are still firmly in the title race as they wait for a potential slip up from Man City and look to keep chase with Pep Guardiola's side.

Three Gunners stars in Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard boast double digits in terms of league goals scored, but that hasn't deterred Arsenal's transfer plans as they still look to add a goalscorer.

Arsenal table contract offer to sign Joshua Zirkzee

Another target who's been widely linked is Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee.

The £68 million Serie A star's netted 11 goals in 31 league games this season, and it is believed his playing style is an attraction for Arsenal. Now, according to Tuttosport in Italy, via Sport Witness, the north Londoners are ready to accelerate their pursuit of the striker.

Indeed, it is believed Arsenal have tabled a five-year contract offer for Zirkzee via his agent, Kia Joorabchian, who also manages the affairs of Soares (Transfermarkt). The salary offer comes in at around £98,000-per-week, according to this report.

“He’s a great player," said AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli on Zirkzee this season.

"I’ve followed him since his days at Bayern Munich and then at my Parma. A fantastic player, with physicality and quality. He has everything. He’s doing very well at Bologna."

With the club still without a replacement for Dan Ashworth, Newcastle United are reportedly in advanced talks to finally put an end to any speculation and seal their next sporting director.

The frontrunner to now land the Newcastle role ahead of Johannes Spors, Freedman's first task will be to help those at St James' Park put an end to their squad depth troubles and take the side back into the Premier League's top four.

To sum up just how impressive Freedman has been at Palace, he was the man responsible for the arrivals of Eberechi Eze for £20m, Michael Olise for £8m and Marc Guehi for £18m. Worth a combined £46m when they first signed, Eze and Olise now reportedly have a price tag of £60m, whilst Guehi's sits at a reported £50m. From £46m, Freedman's signings could now be sold for a combined £170m.

It is the type of buisness that would see Newcastle avoid any issues with the Premier League's Financial Fair Play rules, whilst building Eddie Howe a young and exciting team.

"Brilliant" Freedman can fill Ashworth void

Ashworth initially earned plaudits at Brighton for his work on a budget to produce such an impressive squad which has come on even further leaps and bounds ever since. Now, Freedman has created a similar reputation and his history of landing bargain deals would go a long way when it comes to avoiding the sale of top stars at St James' Park.

There's no doubt that Crystal Palace owner Steve Parish will be disappointed if Freedman, however, having handed him significant praise earlier this season. Parish said via Sportskeeda: "[He’s been] really important. He’s a brilliant guy. He was the second manager I had at the club.

"He was instrumental in us getting promoted. He’s been instrumental, he saved the club [as a player] when we were about to get relegated from the Championship with a last-minute goal at Stockport. He got us promoted while playing for Wolves."

بل وزادت الشائعات أكثر بأن أنشيلوتي سيرحل وسيتم تعيين سانتياجو سولاري مرة أخرى كمدرب للفريق حتى نهاية الموسم، ولكن كل هذا كان غير صحيح وهو ما وضح خلال الاجتماع مع بيريز.

الاجتماع كان روتينيًا ويحدث بعد أي نتيجة سيئة يتعرض لها الفريق، لكنه كان مفيدًا لتجنب الكثير من الشكوك حول مستقبل أنشيلوتي مع ريال مدريد وكيف يفكر النادي.

ولكن أكثر ما يقلق داخل ريال مدريد هي كيفية استكمال الموسم مع كل تلك الإصابات التي يتعرض لها اللاعبون والتي قد تؤثر على مسيرة الفريق، خاصة وأنها لفترات طويلة مثلما حدث مع داني كارفاخال وإيدير ميليتاو.

وهذا عكس ما حدث في الموسم الماضي الذي شهد رد فعل قوية للغاية من جانب الفريق رغم الإصابات الكثيرة التي تعرض لها الفريق ولكن في النهاية، فاز ريال مدريد ببطولتي الدوري الإسباني ودوري أبطال أوروبا.

ولهذا وضع ريال مدريد أولوية في التعاقد مع ظهير أيمن في الميركاتو الشتوي رغم أن الأولوية لمدافع ليفربول، ترينت ألكسندر أرنولد، بعد نهاية الموسم الحالي عقب انتهاء عقده مع الريدز.

كان هناك اجتماع بين الطرفين على خلفية مباراة دوري أبطال أوروبا، حيث كان يرغب ليفربول معرفة موقف ريال مدريد بشأن الصفقة للتخطيط للموسم المقبل.

ولكن هناك رغبة في ضم ظهير أيمن في يناير، خاصة وأن الفريق يخسر جهود لاعب مثل فيدي فالفيردي في هذا المركز مع غياب لوكاس فاسكيز للإصابة.

إذا لم تحدث صفقة أرنولد في نهاية الموسم ستكون هناك بدائل معروفة مثل جيرمي فريمبونج (باير ليفركوزن) وبيدرو بورو (توتنهام).
