أقر كودي جاكبو، نجم نادي ليفربول، أن أحد الأندية الأوروبية الكبرى حاول التعاقد معه خلال فترة الميركاتو الصيفي الأخير، وذلك قبل أن يجدد الدولي الهولندي عقده مع الريدز.

جاكبو يعتبر بين أهم لاعبي نادي ليفربول خلال الفترة الأخيرة، حيث يقدم ابن الـ26 عامًا مستويات أكثر من متميزة مع النادي الإنجليزي وحصل على ثقة المدير الفني آرني سلوت.

وفي تصريحات لشبكة “إي إس بي إن”، أكد جاكبو أن نادي بايرن ميونخ حاول التواصل معه من أجل ضمه هذا الصيف، قبل أن يجدد اللاعب عقده مع ليفربول.

وقال: “إذا كان المستقبل غامضًا، فسيكون الأمر صعبًا للغاية، أعتقد أن الأمر استغرق منا عامًا حتى تجديد العقد، ربما أطول أو أقصر قليلًا، لكنها عملية طويلة”.

وأضاف: “حسب فهمي، لقد جاء بايرن ميونخ، لكنهم في النهاية اشتروا لويس دياز”.

وأوضح: “إنه لأمر رائع، بالطبع، لقد مررت بتجربة مختلفة بنفسي، فترة انتقالات كهذه قد تكون مرهقة للاعب وكل من حوله، هذا لم يعد يزعجني”.

وأردف: “الأمر صعب، لأن الكثير يحدث، أندية أخرى تأتي إليك، لكنك قد ترغب في الاستمرار مع ناديك”.

وأتم جناح بي إس في أيندهوفن السابق: “كل شخص يتعامل مع الأمر بطريقته الخاصة، لكنه صعب بالتأكيد، إذا كان المستقبل غامضًا، فسيكون الأمر صعبًا للغاية”.

Depois de abrir o placar, o Flamengo passou a trocar passes de forma mais tranquila, sem forçar tanto as jogadas. Mesmo assim ofereceu perigo ao Nova Iguaçu, que se limitou apenas a se defender. Completamente entregue no jogo, o Nova Iguaçu foi presa fácil para o Flamengo, que apoiado pelo seu torcedor, não tirou o pé e seguiu buscando gols e mais gols. O time chegou ao 5º com Pedro. Segundo apurou o LANCE!, se o São Paulo estrear na Sul-Americana na próxima terça-feira (4), por exemplo, possivelmente este jogo-treino não aconteceria. O primeiro confronto da equipe no continental acontecerá contra o Tigre, rival do Tricolor na conquista da competição em 2012.

Como o São Paulo é cabeça de chave, os primeiros jogos do torneio acontecerão fora de casa. Assim, para enfrentar o primeiro adversário, terá que viajar até Buenos Aires – cerca de2.223 quilômetros. Inclusive, esta logística de viagens foi apontada como a maior dificuldade pelo próprio Carlos Belmonte, diretor de futebol do clube, pouco antes do sorteio dos adversários do time.

– A gente estreia na Sul-Americana fora de casa, o sorteio é importante porque o tempo é curto para logística. Queríamos evitar viagens longas porque isso é prejudicial. Todos que estão na competição são aptos, mas queremos evitar viagens longas – disse em entrevista à ‘ESPN’.

O jogo-treino contra o Coritiba foi realizado em duas etapas. Em uma, os jogadores titulares perderam por 2 a 1. Na outra etapa, os reservas foram utilizados e venceram por 3 a 1. Não foram divulgadas as escalações. Tanto estes jogos-treinos quanto o ‘intercâmbio’ que aconteceu em Cotia faziam parte do planejamento da intertemporada, após a eliminação da equipe no Campeonato Paulista.

Australia snatched the No. 1 ODI ranking and snapped India’s four-year unbeaten series streak at home with a thrilling win in the defence of 269 in Chennai. Australia went all in from the moment they won the toss and gambled against the dew by choosing to bat on a dry and soft surface. They attacked the new ball in the powerplay, but kept attacking, which resulted in quite a few starts but no fifty.The bowlers then hung in despite a quick start from India, their two spinners Adam Zampa and Ashton Agar took six wickets between them to drag India back from 65 for 0 and 146 for 2. The defence was all the more remarkable because Cameron Green’s illness left Australia with Marcus Stoinis as the fifth bowler. Stoinis was a revelation, though, bowling 9.1 overs for just 43 runs and a wicket.Both the innings progressed similarly: a quick start to maximise the powerplay and the new ball followed by the pitch playing tricks, and some aggressive options taken by batters resulting in soft-looking dismissals. MI New York have announced a star-studded bowling group for the upcoming MLC 2023 competition with Rashid Khan, Trent Boult and Kagiso Rabada all part of the squad. They have also signed up Nicholas Pooran, Tim David, Dewald Brevis and Jason Behrendorff for the three-week tournament in Dallas. To round off their overseas contingent, Kieron Pollard is the captain while David Wiese is the other allrounder.This will be the second team under the MI franchise for Rashid and Rabada, having previously represented MI Cape Town in the SA20. Pooran and Boult will also extend their relationship with the MI group, having previously played for MI Emirates in the ILT20 event in the UAE. For David and Brevis, this will be the third MI franchise (apart from the IPL and SA20).Former South Africa international Robin Peterson has been named head coach while former Mumbai Indians seamer Lasith Malinga will be bowling coach.
