وقال حسام غالي في تصريحات لبودكاست “G.Talks”، إن محمد أبو تريكة، نجم كبير وشخصية محترمة جدًا ومؤدب، ولم ير منه أي شيء سيئ، مضيفا أنه خسر كثيرًا بسبب انتمائه السياسي.

وتابع: “حسام حسن كان مثلي الأعلى، وكنت مهاجمًا في الصغر، فكان زملائي في مدينة بيلا بكفر الشيخ، في بعض المناسبات يطلقون علي حسام حسن، وصورته هو وإبراهيم حسن، في غرفتي منذ صغري”.
وأضاف: “البعض يرغبون في تشويه صورتي حتى لا أكون رئيسا للنادي الأهلي، وأن الانطباع السائد أنني لا أصلح لهذا المنصب”.
وكشف: “أحب الشخصية القوية، لكن بشرط ألا تكون فردية، الأهلي نادٍ بني على الجماعية وروح الفريق، وهذه القيم كانت حاضرة بقوة في فترات سابقة وأتمنى استعادتها”.
وعن مانويل جوزيه مدرب الأهلي الأسطوري، اختتم: “قد لا يوصف بالمدرب العبقري، لكنه من أفضل الشخصيات التي يمكن التعامل معها، عصبيته وطموحه وإيمانه إن الفريق هو النجم الأوحد كانت أهم مميزاته، والأجمل إنه كان مقتنع بهذا، وهو من أنجح المدربين في تاريخ الأهلي”.

Griffin, who has signed a two-year deal, previously had two spells coaching Western Storm in the women’s regional structure.He oversaw Storm’s two Kia Super League successes between 2017 and 2019, before moving on to coach Sunrisers and London Spirit in the Hundred. He also had a four-season spell in charge of Sydney Thunder in the WBBL.A former district sales manager with Nationwide, Griffin took an unusual route into coaching, via the Devon Cricket Board, Chance to Shine, and the University of Exeter. Liverpool are believed to be targeting a new player who is similar in style to a recent Arsenal signing once they wrap up the signature of Hugo Ekitike, according to transfer expert Graeme Bailey.

The Reds are closing in on the addition of Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt, and it is seemingly a matter of time until he is confirmed as the Premier League champions’ latest signing for an initial fee of £69m.

Speaking to The Boot Room, Bailey claimed that Liverpool will target a new centre-back this summer – one who is similar to imminent Arsenal signing Cristhian Mosquera, having shown an interest in him.
“Liverpool are not finished even with Ekitike, far from it. Even with Ekitike and Wirtz, they want more in the last third but they are happy with how things are going. Nunez and Diaz leaving will free up space, and, if as expected they both depart, expect to see another wide forward too, if not another central option.
“That aside, they are still working on a central defender – irrespective of the Konate situation. They did like (Cristhian) Mosquera before Arsenal launched their bid for him. I believe they will sign someone of similar stature to him – someone who can learn from Van Dijk and Konate.”

Bringing in a central defender is vital for Liverpool, especially following Jarell Quansah’s move to Bayer Leverkusen, and former Valencia man Mosquera would have been a strong option, having been lauded as “elite” by analyst Harvey Diamonds.
Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi arguably stands out as the best choice for Liverpool currently, amid links with him this summer, with the England international knowing the Premier League extremely well and still a relatively young player.

Caribbean Premier League team Guyana Amazon Warriors are scheduled to take on Pakistan Super League side Lahore Qalandars in the opening match of the inaugural Global Super League. The five-team T20 competition will also feature Hampshire Hawks (T20 Blast), Rangpur Riders (BPL), and Victoria (Australia state team). Eleven games, including the final, will be played across as many days starting November 26, with each team playing the other once before the top two make the final, on December 7.The annual event will feature different teams from around the world each year. Gyokeres ended what was a two-month-long transfer saga by putting pen to paper on a £64 million deal to join Arsenal last weekend, including add-ons, and the number nine could end up standing out as a title-winning capture.

His monumental 97 goals in 102 appearances for Sporting CP were key to the club winning back-to-back Primeira Liga titles, with both Ruben Amorim and Rui Borges benefitting from Gyokeres’ exceptional proficiency in the final third.
Now, it is Arteta’s turn, and Gyokeres stands to seriously benefit from feeding off the likes of Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka.
In an ideal world, the 27-year-old will also get service from another Arsenal attacking target – Crystal Palace playmaker Eberechi Eze.
Eze was Palace’s standout creator last season, making his £20 million fee from QPR seem like peanuts, and reports suggest that he’s most likely to be Arsenal’s next major incoming after Gyokeres.
“The top target is Eberechi Eze. He’s considered the perfect player to add,” said Fabrizio Romano on Men in Blazers this week.
“They are in contact with his agents, they spoke to the player several times, the player’s camp several times — Eze is very tempted by this opportunity.”

The England international has already told friends he expects to join Arsenal this summer, according to journalist Graeme Bailey, who’s now shared an intriguing new update in an interview with TBR Football.
Bailey reports that, despite his quality, Arsenal chiefs are divided over signing Eze amid some confusion over his potential role in Arteta’s team.
“I am told that some inside the club are not sure about where he is going to play within the Arsenal system.
“It is believed that a number see him as a No.10 and if that is the case, do they need that? That is part of the discussion.
“Arsenal are still weighing up their options when it comes to Eze. They like the player a lot and think he would be an excellent signing, but nothing is guaranteed at this point.
“Arsenal are one who have held talks, but Palace were expecting others such as the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Tottenham to come – as of yet that hasn’t happened but it could. Although, as we know, Eze wants Arsenal, and has told friends that is where he expects to be playing come the end of the window.
“Palace are not going to help anyone get Eze, they want him to stay. If somebody wants him, it is going to be on their terms.”
Elsewhere, The Guardian reports that Palace want at least £35m of Eze’s potential £68m release clause paid up front, which would take Arsenal’s summer spending close to the £250 million mark.
Berta does have other options though, with Arsenal keen on Leicester City star Bilal El Khannouss, who could leave for the value of his £22.5 million release clause.
West Ham United’s notable exits this summer look as if they will be continuing on way past Mohammed Kudus’ crushing departure to Tottenham Hotspur.
The next reality check in the transfer department could come very soon, as Lucas Paqueta appears to be edging for a move away from the London Stadium, amid interest in the midfielder’s services from Manchester City and the aforementioned North Londoners.
It remains to be seen whether the Hammers would let Paqueta go during the same demoralising summer that saw Kudus defect to Spurs, as a new Paqueta-style figure appears on Graham Potter’s shopping list anyway.
West Ham ask about signing £30m midfielder
Potter’s men look as if they will be busy between now and September’s approaching deadline, with a whole host of names being tipped to join the East London ranks.
New reports have suggested that Cagliari attacker Roberto Piccoli might join the building to help boost the ex-Chelsea manager’s options up top, alongside the Hammers also eyeing up promising Sheffield United goalkeeper Michael Cooper to add depth in between the sticks in the wake of Lukas Fabianski’s retirement.

West Ham are further assessing their options in the EFL away from just the Blades when it comes to Southampton starlet Mateus Fernandes, with journalist Jack Rosser via X speculating that the Hammers have approached the Saints about a potential move for the rising Portuguese star.
It is stated that they haven’t been left with much encouragement from these conversations, however, with Atletico Madrid also keen on the 21-year-old, who is touted to be worth around the £30m ballpark.
Standing out as a shining light last season, even as his South Coast outfit plummeted to relegation, Fernandes could kick on and become an even brighter talent at the London Stadium if a deal can be secured, potentially filling the hole left behind by Paqueta in the process.
Why Fernandes could be the next Paqueta
£30m does feel like a steep amount to splurge on a midfielder that has just tasted the unwelcome flavour of relegation, but the 21-year-old did manage to come out of Southampton’s basement finish with his head held high, at least.

Indeed, come the end of the depressing campaign for his team, Fernandes would still manage to tally up two goals and four assists for his lowly team in Premier League action.
All this frenzied interest has come his way off the back of completing such an impressive individual campaign, despite the many setbacks facing him at St. Mary’s.
Amazingly, Fernandes’ standout 2024/25 output is more goals and assists than Paqueta would manage back at the Irons across the same span, with the spotlight on the Brazilian more focused on controversies off the pitch, away from him only collecting a disappointing four goal contributions.
However, whilst the 21-year-old would shine in this regard, he is also similar to his South American counterpart when considering his overall, varied game, which would make him a perfect replacement for Paqueta in the long run. Indeed, as hailed by analyst Ben Mattinson, he is the “complete” talent.

Looking at the table above, it becomes far clearer as to why Mattinson described Fernandes as a ‘complete’ talent from the middle of the park.
The former Sporting youngster matches Paqueta and even betters him when it comes to the more defensive aspect of their games, when glancing at their numbers in the Premier League last season, as seen in him averaging more tackles and ball recoveries last campaign per match.
Even FBref states that the midfielders are statistically similar, with Paqueta also a versatile performer, much like the 21-year-old, when previously lining up down the left flank for the Irons.
Fernandes is some way off establishing himself as a Premier League regular like the “mind-boggling” Paqueta – as former teammate Declan Rice once described his ability – but his time could soon come to become an established talent at the level, particularly if the Hammers cough up what Southampton want this summer.
