كشفت تقارير صحفية بريطانية، أن جماهير المنتخب الإنجليزي تواجه صعوبة في حضور مباريات الأسود الثلاثة في كأس العالم قطر 2022.

وتستضيف قطر بطولة كأس العالم 2022 نوفمبر المقبل، وأشارت تقارير سابقة إلى أنها تواجه صعوبة في استضافة 1.2 مليون زائر متوقع للمنتخبات المشاركة.

صحيفة “ذا صن” البريطانية، أكدت أنه نتيجة لذلك، اضطر مشجعو المنتخب الإنجليزي إلى البحث عن بلدان مجاورة لقطر، لأماكن إقامة، مثل دبي والمملكة العربية السعودية والكويت وعمان.

وحصلت الصحيفة على آراء بعض المشجعين، ومن ضمنهم شخص يُدعى سايمون وينتي، الذي قال: “على الرغم من تكلفة الرحلة، سأوفر مبلغًا كبيرًا الغرفة أفضل بكثير”.

وأشارت الصحيفة إلى أن المصروفات الليلية في الإقامة داخل قطر، تصل إلى 93 جنيهًا إسترلينيًا في الليلة الواحدة.

وكشفت الصحيفة، عن وجود العديد من المشجعين الآخرين في قطر، بأسعار تزيد عن 184 جنيه إسترليني في الليلة، ويسكنون في كبائن معاد تصنيعها.

بينما صرح مشجع آخر يُدعى، بول كليج: “لقد حجزت للتو غرفة في أول أربع ليالٍ وأنا أدفع الكثير مقابل ذلك، لكنني لم أجد أي خيارات بأسعار معقولة، لذلك لست متأكدًا من المكان الذي سأقيم فيه بعد ذلك”.

Australia remain confident that Peter Siddle will be fit for the third Test despite the selectors calling for the Tasmania fast bowler Brett Geeves as a backup. Siddle bowled at full speed in the WACA nets on Monday and did not show any signs of the hamstring strain that troubled him in Adelaide, but much will depend on how he recovers after training.Following his bowling session, Siddle walked laps of the WACA with the team physio Alex Kountouris, who has spent much of the week working with Siddle in an effort to ensure he is fit for the Test starting on Wednesday. Much to the presumed dismay of many Newcastle United fans, the Tyneside club currently have the worst defensive record in the Premier League this season with a total of 41 goals conceded in 18 games.

With this in mind and the fact that the January transfer window is close to opening, signing some new defensive reinforcements should be at the top of Newcastle’s priority list.

One potential name that the Magpies could look to sign that may help fix their defensive issues is Arsenal defender Konstantinos Mavropanos.

Having been linked with a move for the defender earlier in the month, it has recently been reported that it could take a fee of €30m (£25.2m) to secure his signature.

Currently on loan at German club Stuttgart, Mavropanos originally signed to Arsenal back in the 2018 January transfer window from Greek club PAS Giannina.

With just eight senior appearances for Arsenal under his belt, the 24-year-old has not been seen as a regular figure for the Gunners, with this current loan at Stuttgart being his second loan spell away since joining the north London club.

So far this season, Mavropanos, who is currently valued at £15.3m according to Transfermarkt, has used his time with Stuttgart to show off what a capable defender he is by racking up an average of 5.8 clearances, 2.4 interceptions and 1.9 tackles per game in the Bundesliga.

With this in mind, it could definitely be worth Newcastle exploring the possibility of potentially signing Mavropanos, who has been described as being a “gladiator” on the pitch by Stuttgart head coach Pellegrino Matarazzo in January if the owners are willing to spend the money that it would take to sign the defender.

If Newcastle were able to sign Mavropanos in January, this would give Toon manager Eddie Howe the opportunity to axe current Magpies defender Ciaran Clark.

He hasn’t had the best run of games in recent weeks after getting sent off in the early stages of their 1-1 draw against Norwich City, which was described as being a “crazy stupid” thing to do by Alan Shearer.

That was then followed by making an error that led to Manchester City’s first goal in their 4-0 defeat at St. James’ Park.

Therefore, the former Arsenal defender would clearly be an enormous upgrade.

Em um duelo de times que têm como missão evitar o rebaixamento à Série C, o Boa Esporte conseguiu o melhor resultado. Com gol de Thaciano, o Boa superou o Luverdense , por 1 a 0, na noite desta terça-feira, no Estádio Passo das Emas, pela 36ª rodada da Série B do Campeonato Brasileiro.

Com 46 pontos, o Boa Esporte abriu seis pontos de vantagem do primeiro colocado na zona de rebaixamento, o Luverdense.

ESQUEMA TÁTICO EFICAZ

No primeiro tempo, o Boa Esporte optou por se manter recuado bloqueando os ataques do Luverdense e tentando aproveitar os contra-ataques. O Verdão do Norte, teve dificuldade de movimentação, mas procurou fazer as jogadas explorando as laterais do campo e deu trabalho ao goleiro Diogo Silva. Mesmo pressionando o Boa, o time não conseguiu converter as chances que teve em gols.

Aos 41, com um contra-ataque rápido, Thaciano fez o primeiro da partida para o Boa Esporte. O atacante Rodolfo recebeu a bola pela direita e cruzou rasteiro para o meia, que empurrou para o fundo das redes!

LUVERDENSE ACOMODADO

Durante a segunda etapa, chamou atenção a quantidade de passes errados no setor de meio-campo, de ambas as equipes.
O time do Luverdense caiu de rendimento e não mostrou poder de reação no segundo tempo, mesmo perdendo o jogo. No setor ofensivo,não apresentava perigo ao Boa Esporte. O time mineiro, por sua vez, fazia marcação forte e conseguiu segurar o resultado positivo.
