صحيفة “ماركا” الإسبانية، كتبت أن نادي ريال مدريد يبدو أنه سخر من تتويج مانشستر سيتي بجائزة أفضل فريق في العالم، مما جعلهم ينشرون صورة من مباراة الفريقين في سانتياجو بيرنابيو العام الماضي، والتي فاز بها النادي الملكي 3/1 وتأهل إلى النهائي بسيناريو درامي.

ونشر النادي الصورة، وعلق عليها برمز تعبيري “عينان تراقبان”، مما يشير إلى سخريته من اختيار مانشستر سيتي لجائزة الفريق الأفضل في العالم.

كما أعرب إيكار كاسياس حارس مرمى ريال مدريد الأسبق وأسطورة النادي، عن استغرابه من الجائزة، وكتب: “جوائز مزحة.. مبروك لـ ريال مدريد المركز الثالث”.

O Gepe havia prometido um esquema de segurança especial, com bloqueios nas ruas em volta do estádio, para evitar a chegadas de pessoas sem ingressos nas ruas, o que não aconteceu. A reportagem do LANCE! também presenciou pessoas com entradas que não conseguiram entrar antes do início do jogo.

No Setor Norte, a confusão foi tão grande na entrada dos torcedores que até o encanamento do estádio foi danificado e houve um pequeno incêndio. A Polícia Militar também utilizou de spray de pimenta neste local, atingindo as pessoas que já estavam na arquibancada.

His captaincy was innovative as always and he bowled his best spell of the tournament, choking the run flow, dismissing a dangerous-looking Herschelle Gibbs, and helping Rajasthan Royals restrict Deccan Chargers’ formidable batting line-up to a below-par total. Warne’s charges responded to his leadership, with the ball and in the field, and the result was a clinical performance that set up Rajasthan’s third win in a row.Rajasthan’s batting has blown hot and cold this season – scoring 200-plus in Mumbai and only 92 in Bangalore – but their performances gained consistency in the last two contests. Michael Lumb anchored another convincing display, leading the chase with a brisk 45, setting the platform for Yusuf Pathan to destroy Deccan’s slim chances. Yusuf swung his bat powerfully, reached 50 off 23 balls, and sent a total of eight balls sailing over the boundary. The required-rate dipped below six in the ninth over, and Rajasthan eventually cruised past 148 with 26 balls to spare. The win catapulted Rajasthan from sixth to third in the points table.Warne had promised surprises in the lead-up to this contest, but that he always does. After some confusion over who won the toss – Deccan had, and chose to bat – he unveiled his first. Adam Gilchrist thrives against speed while facing the new ball, and is perhaps familiar with the modus operandi of Shaun Tait, so Warne slowed it down by deploying little-known Sumit Narwal, who replaced Munaf Patel in this match.Narwal got the ball to move away from Gilchrist, the IPL’s most prolific six-hitter, and after two tight deliveries, induced a mis-hit that was held by Yusuf at mid-off. Deccan were 2 for 1 at the end of the first over.Warne’s next move didn’t work. Yusuf is usually the go-to man when Warne wants to open with spin, but today he chose Abhishek Jhunjhunwala. Herschelle Gibbs responded by skipping down the pitch twice to loft the offspinner back over his head for sixes. The over cost 16, but Jhunjhunwala would make amends with two accurate throws to run out Andrew Symonds and Venugopal Rao later in the innings.Laxman, meanwhile, had swatted Siddharth Trivedi to the midwicket boundary. The shot was forced and was further indication that Laxman isn’t comfortable playing his naturally graceful game in the Twenty20 format. He tried it again against Tait – Warne had brought him on in the fifth over – and holed out to mid-on.Symonds and Gibbs threatened to wrest the initiative. Symonds struck three boundaries in a Narwal over and the run-rate was still above nine when Warne came into the attack after the Powerplay. He bowled three tight balls to Symonds, and dismissed Gibbs with the next: drawing the batsman forward with flight and beating him with dip and turn. Naman Ojha took off the bails with Gibbs’ foot on the line.At 58 for 3, it was left to Rohit Sharma and Symonds to lift the innings, but a poor call left Symonds with no hope of completing the second before Jhunjhunwala’s throw reached Warne, who had figures of 1 for 7 at the end of his second over. Two quiet overs followed before Rohit took on Trivedi, pulling him over midwicket for six and driving to the extra-cover boundary.The wickets continued to fall – T Suman bowled, Venugopal Rao and Chaminda Vaas run out – but Rohit ensured runs were coming from at least one end. He was dropped by Adam Voges on the deep midwicket boundary on 30, and then smashed Tait and Narwal over the straight boundaries for sixes, before holing out on 49. His dismissal meant Deccan had to settle for 148, their lowest total of the season.Lumb got Rajasthan’s chase off to a fluent start by taking two boundaries of Vaas’ first over. He was dropped by Gibbs at point off RP Singh when on 12 and made Deccan pay immediately. In RP’s second over, Lumb helped himself to four consecutive boundaries against length deliveries, over point, through square leg, over mid-off and midwicket. The last ball went for four leg byes as well, and Rajasthan were firmly on their way.The Yusuf show started after Naman Ojha was stumped, ending a partnership of 54. Gilchrist began with a slip and a silly point for Pragyan Ojha, Yusuf responded by sending the ball over the straight boundary. It was the beginning of an assault that rendered Deccan helpless. Yusuf would wind up and swing, sometimes it appeared as if he hadn’t connected properly, but the ball would need fetching from beyond the boundary. He finished Deccan with 73 off 34 balls, Gilchrist put it succinctly when he said “We were pumped today”.

Wolves have been handed a potential blow in their efforts to sign Aaron Ramsey from Juventus, with Crystal Palace being strongly linked with a move for the Wales midfielder.

The 31-year-old has struggled to impress in Italy after leaving Arsenal in 2019, making just 70 appearances for the Serie A giants and scoring a mere six goals.

Wolves have been linked with a move for Ramsey in the January transfer window as Bruno Lage potentially looks to add a strong midfield option to his squad. The ex-Gunners ace has scored 20 goals in 71 caps for Wales, proving to be a modern-day hero for his country, whom he has represented in two European Championships.

The Latest: Crystal Palace in the mix

Wolves have been dealt a possible blow in their quest to acquire Ramsey’s signature, with Tuttosport claiming [via Sport Witness] that Palace are pushing to sign him this month.

Eagles manager Patrick Vieira is thought to be ‘open-minded’ about signing the 31-year-old, with a move to Selhurst Park believed to be getting ‘closer and closer’.

The Verdict: One that got away?

With Palace seemingly in firm pole position, Wolves may need to face up to the likelihood that Ramsey heads elsewhere, which must be considered a blow given his pedigree.

He has scored 40 goals and registered 51 assists in the Premier League, not to mention being hailed as ‘world-class’ by Wales team-mate Joe Allen last summer.

At 31, and with potentially high wages, there are at least some viable reasons why a move for Ramsey could have backfired for Wolves, but the positives of bringing a player with a rich CV to Molineux would have outweighed the negatives.

What’s the word?

The north London outfit are yet to conduct any form of business this month but plenty of incomings and outgoings have been mooted in the press.

It’s the first window of opportunity for manager Antonio Conte to bolster the playing squad since he was appointed as Nuno Santo’s successor back in November.

And despite a lack of confirmed movement, the Italian transfer expert is expecting it to be a busy end to the window for the Lilywhites.

“I expect Tottenham Hotspur to make two or three signings before the end of the window,” he told blogger Matt Hayes on YouTube. He also claimed that Adama Traore remained a key target but the club are not prepared to pay Wolves’ €25m (£20.8m) asking price.

Encouraging news

Time is certainly running out if Spurs are going to bring in anyone, let alone two or three new players, though it’s believed Conte has asked to strengthen three priority positions.

As per football.london, that’s a new wing-back, a new left-sided centre-back and a backup striker but with the likes of Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso and Dele Alli all linked with departures, per Sky Sports,  a central midfielder could quickly become a key area to target.

Aside from Traore, the north Londoners have also been mooted with an exciting move for FC Porto sensation Luis Diaz, who is an out-and-out left winger by trade, and Fiorentina outcast Sofyan Amrabat, who is excelling at the Africa Cup of Nations in midfield for Morocco.

So if there is going to be three additions by Monday night, you’d imagine that the trio of players mentioned above are the most likely candidates to meet Romano’s claim.

Spurs had been unbeaten in the Premier League under Conte until last weekend’s defeat to his former club Chelsea, who have now beaten the Lilywhites three times this month and whilst the side are firmly in the race for the top-four, those losses highlighted a huge gulf in quality on the pitch.

The Italian head coach must be backed financially if he’s to stand a chance at reviving this sinking ship in N17 and three new additions would be a great start ahead of the summer.

We’ll have to wait and see if the Spurs hierarchy can pull anything out of the bag over the coming days but if you’re a Lilywhites supporter, then Romano’s update should leave you very excited.

Aos 22 anos, o volante está no clube desde o ano passado, quando foi contratado logo após conquistar a medalha de ouro com a Seleção Brasileira nas Olimpíadas Rio 2016. No Brasil, Walace teve passagem de destaque pelo Grêmio, despertando o interesse dos alemães.

Segundo o site do Globo Esporte, o Flamengo já enviou uma proposta pelo atleta, mas para um empréstimo por 18 meses, o que não agrada o Hamburgo. Para fazer negócio pelo jogador, o time alemão espera no mínimo recuperar os 10 milhões de euros que investiu no volante.

Procurado pela reportagem do LANCE, o empresário do jogador, Rogério Braun, confirmou que o Hamburgo não está disposto a facilitar um empréstimo pelo atleta, mas o Flamengo vai seguir insistindo e negociação deve se arrastar por mais alguns dias.

A pré-temporada do Flamengo começa de forma oficial, com todos os jogadores, no próximo dia 13 de janeiro e até o momento nenhum nome chegou para reforçar o grupo rubro-negro. Outros nomes que podem chegar são os do zagueiro Pablo e o do lateral Zeca, mas negociações também têm suas dificuldades.

Chennai Super Kings, boosted by a determined display from their bowlers led by Doug Bollinger, put an end to Deccan Chargers’ run of five consecutive wins to qualify for the IPL final for the second time and confirm their place in the Champions League Twenty20. They overcame a poor start, aided by a measured partnership from MS Dhoni and S Badrinath, and a late surge from S Anirudha helped post 142 in tricky conditions. Bollinger and R Ashwin then crippled Deccan in their chase, and the rest contributed to chip away at the middle order, to seal a hard-fought win.Deccan, given their successful run, would have backed themselves to overhaul Chennai’s score comfortably. The conditions were aiding swing and movement, and the pitch was taking turn, but that had little to do with their slow start to the chase. Adam Gilchrist and Herschelle Gibbs, both searching for form, batted in a manner contrary to their reputation, preferring caution over attack in the Powerplay. Bollinger varied his lengths and Ashwin, like he has for much of the tournament, altered his pace and flight to again prove economical. While Deccan’s approach, for the most part, remained restrained, a significant number of dot balls in the first six overs were failed attempts at the big shots.The only convincing shot to the boundary was a straight six from Gilchrist off Ashwin, but Bollinger ended the misery with a double-strike in the sixth over. Gilchrist flicked straight to midwicket and T Suman, whose promotion to No.3 had triggered a turnaround in Deccan’s fortunes this IPL, cut straight to point. The Powerplay yielded just 23, the second-lowest in the tournament, and it was only a matter of time before the frustration set in.Rohit Sharma has often had to rescue Deccan from trouble, but he added to their woes by lofting Albie Morkel to long on with the field spread out. Equally dispiriting for Deccan was Gibbs’ lack of conviction. Dropped from the team for his problems at the top, Gibbs had been recalled at the expense of an allrounder for his experience and game-changing ability. But the shortage in confidence was evident, for, in the wake of an escalating required-rate and the attacking field with a slip and leg slip in place, he struggled to pierce the in-field, particularly against spin. Several deliveries were defended either side of the pitch, interspersed with a streaky boundary, and his downfall came in the 11th over when he played on to Shadab Jakati.The match was not over, with Andrew Symonds striking Jakati for consecutive fours in an over which fetched 17. But when he, in an act of desperation in the 16th over, slogged Ashwin to deep midwicket, Chennai were virtually through. Bollinger returned to nip out two more in his next spell and sealed Deccan’s fate.Dhoni’s decision to bat on a testing pitch was prompted by his faith in the top order to handle the conditions, but it let him down despite being given chances. Matthew Hayden was dropped twice, Suresh Raina once, but those reprieves amounted for little as both fell in tame fashion to give Deccan the early edge. In between, M Vijay had played back to a full delivery to be caught plumb, and Chennai limped to 29 for 3.Dhoni and Badrinath were cautious in their approach, but ensured the run-rate didn’t slip. Badrinath dropped anchor and Dhoni, amid the spate of cuts, dabs and nudges, stepped up to find the boundary. Their partnership of 52 comprised just four boundaries, three of which were from Dhoni’s bat. He smashed Harmeet Singh and RP Singh through the off side and charged to drive Pragyan Ojha down the ground. But another aggressive maneuver from Deccan, who fielded a slip for Harmeet’s legcutters, earned them their fourth wicket as Dhoni slashed one straight to Rohit.Badrinath did his best to prevent the innings from stagnating. He launched Ojha for a straight six and slugged Symonds over mid-on for a boundary before being stumped in the penultimate over.Thanks to a combination of some power hitting and streaky batting, Chennai managed to score 46 off the last five overs. Anirudha, replacing Sudeep Tyagi, targeted RP and Harris to strike a couple of sixes to lift his team to 142 – a major recovery considering Deccan’s meek reply, which left them hunting for consolation in Saturday’s third-place playoff against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

A informação da negociação sobre Mateus Vital foi divulgada inicialmente pelo canal “Esporte Interativo” e confirmada pelo LANCE!. O L! apurou que o Timão irá comprar 50% dos direitos de Vital, com os outros 50% sendo divididos pelo próprio jogador com seu empresário.
