O duelo

Os primeiros minutos foram de muito estudo para as equipes. Com o meio-campo travado e alvo de disputa, o jeito foi arriscar em chutes de fora da área. O Operário até chegou em finalização de Marcelo, mas a bola passou por cima do travessão.

A melhor chance da etapa inicial veio com o Criciúma. No cruzamento de Daniel Costa, Léo Gamalho desviou de cabeça e carimbou o poste.

No segundo tempo o panorama continuou o mesmo. Com as duas equipes bem equilibradas em campo, as jogadas surgiam em lances individuais. O Fantasma levou perigo na casa dos 13 minutos, quando Felipe Augusto pegou um belo chute e balançou o travessão catarinense.

Sem muita inspiração, o Fantasma voltou a chegar com perigo na bola rápida de Batatinha. O meia achou Rafael Chorão, que pegou de primeira e mandou perto do gol adversário.

Na base da insistência, o Operário-PR abriu o placar nos minutos finais. Batatinha tocou para Maílton que soltou a bomba e deu a vitória aos mandantes.

After making a successful return to competitive cricket for Western Province Cricket Club on Saturday, Dale Steyn said he is fit and ready for South Africa’s upcoming T20I series against Australia. Steyn had been out of action for nearly two months because of a shoulder injury.”I will be fine to play against Australia,” Steyn told Independent Media before the start of the club game. “All the talk about the injury can take a sideline – I’ve been fine for the last three weeks, and that’s why I’m playing today. If I was injured, I wouldn’t be playing today. So, ready to take on the Aussies and everything should be fine.”Steyn returned figures of 3 for 2 in five overs in St. Augustine’s first innings, and followed that up with 2 for 11 in five overs in the second.He had picked up the shoulder injury in the first Test against England in December and, in all, missed six out of South Africa’s last eight Tests, having also suffered a groin injury on the preceding tour of India. He also missed all the limited-overs matches against England.Steyn will have three T20Is against Australia on March 4, 6 and 9 before South Africa travel to India for the World T20.

The bowling actions of four bowlers have been reported for suspect actions after the first day of the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League. Left-arm spinner Moinul Islam and offspinner Mustafizur Rahman of Gazi Group Cricketers, Abahani’s left-arm spinner Amit Kumar, and Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club’s left-arm spinner Rejaul Karim were reported.Gazi Group’s head coach Mohammad Salahuddin said he was notified of the report at the end of their shock 106-run win over Prime Bank Cricket Club in Mirpur on Friday. Moinul and Mustafizur had made their List A debuts in the match.”The umpires gave a piece of paper to our manager, which said that [Mustafizur Rahman] Bashar and the left-armer Moinul have been reported. I spoke to the umpires later and they said some of their deliveries were suspect. But they can continue playing until the board tells us anything,” Salahuddin told ESPNcricinfo.It is also understood that Abahani will continue to use Amit until further notification.Apart from informing the teams, the umpires submitted the report to the BCB’s umpires committee, which is supposed to hand it over to the bowlers review group. Bragantino 2 x 0 CRB
A partida

O Bragantino não teve vida fácil no início do jogo. O CRB foi para cima do Massa Bruta com a intenção de estragar a festa da entrega da taça para o campeão. Mas o Bragantino só conseguiu equilibrar o jogo da metade da etapa inicial para frente, mas nenhuma das duas equipes conseguiu marcar.

Na etapa complementar, o Bragantino dominou o jogo e mostrou que não foi o campeão por acaso. O CRB foi valente e conseguiu resistir até quase os 30 minutos, mas Ytalo, após receber excelente passe, marcou o primeiro do Massa Bruta 1 a 0. O Bragantino continuou em busca do segundo, e achou no finalzinho do jogo. Claudinho recebeu de Aderlan dentro da área, e bateu para marcar o gol e fechar o placar de 2 a 0 para o grande campeão.

Londrina 2 x 0 Guarani
Londrina e Guarani fizeram um primeiro tempo equilibrado. Os dois times buscaram o gol, mas pecavam na hora da conclusão. Quando alguém conseguiu acertar o gol com qualidade, o placar foi aberto. Em jogada individual, Léo Passos se livrou da marcação e bateu bem e inaugurou o marcador, 1 a 0 para o Tubarão.

No segundo tempo, o Bugre voltou determinado atrás do empate, mas a falta de qualidade na hora da conclusão era o principal empecilho. O Londrina ficou ali só esperando a chance do contra-ataque, e quando essa oportunidade apareceu, o Tubarão não desperdiçou. Paulinho Moccelin partiu com a bola dominada e passou para Matheus Bianqui fazer o gol da vitória do Londrina por 2 a 0.

Figueirense 1 x 1 Operário

Figueirense e Operário fizeram um primeiro tempo de qualidade. O Fantasma criou chances de perigo, mas o Figueira foi quem conseguiu construir as oportunidades mais perigosas e esteve mais próximo do gol.

Na etapa complementar, o Operário conseguiu abrir o placar logo no início. Alan Vieira cobrou escanteio, Luis Ricardo tentou afastar e acabou marcando contra, 1 a 0 para o Fantasma. O Figueira não se abateu, foi a luta atrás do empate e conseguiu achar o gol em belo chute de Fellipe Mateus. O Figueira ainda continuou na pressão atrás da virada, mas o resultado acabou mesmo em empate.

Cuiabá 1 x 2 Vila Nova

O Cuiabá até teve o domínio do jogo no primeiro tempo e criou chances para marcar, mas quem saiu em vantagem para o intervalo foi o Vila Nova. Após cruzamento, Elivelton ajeitou de cabeça e Bruno Mezenga abriu o marcador, 1 a 0.

No segundo tempo, o Dourado foi com tudo para cima e achou o empate de pênalti. Moisés bateu e igualou o marcador. Mas não demorou para o Vila Nova logo passar à frente no placar. Robinho achou Elias, que concluiu com perfeição para fazer o segundo gol e da vitória da equipe do Vila.

Thirty-two runs, 43 balls, and less than an hour at the crease while batting in a total of eight innings. Those were Chris Gayle’s numbers during his lean run since his hundred in West Indies’ World T20 opener against England exactly two months ago. On a humid night at Eden Gardens, he struck form against his former franchise to help Royal Challengers Bangalore stay alive in their hunt for a playoff spot, with a nine-wicket win against Kolkata Knight Riders.Royal Challengers’ top order made light work of the 184-run target as Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers carried their stellar show from Bangalore to Kolkata, after Gayle’s 31-ball 49.Kohli, Russell pick up injuries

Virat Kohli and Andre Russell picked up injuries during Royal Challengers’ nine-wicket win in Kolkata. In the 17th over of Knight Riders’ innings, Kohli split his webbing on his left hand when he ran in from deep cover to take a catch offered by Russell. He was off the field for an over before returning. “It’s a big split, my hand is starting to pain now, looks like I’ll get seven or eight stitches. I don’t mind even 10 stitches as long as we keep winning,” he said after the match.
Russell’s injury looked more serious and occurred towards the end of the match. Russell was bowling the 19th over when he tumbled for the third time in his follow through and had to be helped off the field after he injured his knee, according to the TV commentators.

Gayle had trudged to 1 off seven balls before unleashing the big hits. He started with a swipe over mid-on for four in the second over, and treated the short balls thereafter with disdain. The upper cut, the inside-out drive and even the fierce sweep off Sunil Narine, something he’s not always known for, followed as he raced to 35 off 21. Amid the carnage, Kohli exhibited one classical inside-out drive for six that showed the Royal Challengers party was on at both ends, and only 11 people at the packed ground were not dancing to the music.Gayle was trapped lbw by Narine after he struck two more sixes, but that brought together Kohli and de Villiers. They were watchful at times but picked up boundaries regularly. While de Villiers targeted Ankit Rajpoot and Shakib Al Hasan, who was repeatedly swept into the stands at deep square leg, Kohli went after Andre Russell and Piyush Chawla.Kohli, on 32, offered a rare chance off Shakib but Gautam Gambhir put it down at backward point in the 11th over, with Royal Challengers needing 90 off 56. But after two boundary-less overs against Shakib and Chawla, Kohli and de Villiers put their seat belts on. Kohli picked the wrong’uns, de Villiers used the crease against the three spinners, and sixes were struck on demand. Soon the equation read 40 from 24. And even though Gambhir changed his bowlers around, the result remained unaffected.Kohli sauntered to his eighth fifty-plus score of the tournament and de Villiers, the more attacking of the two, registered his 28-ball half-century as the duo ran down the target with eight balls to spare. Their unbeaten stand read 115 runs from 11.1 overs at a scoring rate of 10.29. Along the way, Kohli surpassed Chris Gayle and Michael Hussey’s tally of 733 runs to become the highest run-scorer in an IPL season.Unlike the chase, Knight Riders’ journey to 183 had been a bumpy ride, led first by the top order and then the lower order. Iqbal Abdulla, who replaced Varun Aaron in RCB’s XI, took a one-handed catch to dismiss Robin Uthappa in the third over. Gambhir and Manish Pandey didn’t look perturbed though. While the captain relied more on nudges, Pandey’s big swings towards the midwicket region kept the fielders busy, as Knight Riders passed fifty at the end of the Powerplay.Just when Knight Riders had begun hitting harder, Royal Challengers took three wickets in 10 balls. Gambhir and Pandey fell after making fifties to allow Abdulla and Yuzvendra Chahal to slow the scoring further. Yusuf Pathan, who had made an unbeaten 29-ball 60 in a match-winning effort when the sides last met in Bangalore, was deceived in flight and stumped for 6, while Suryakumar Yadav holed out to long-off. Knight Riders stumbled to 125 for 5.The momentum switched sides again when Russell and Shakib got together. Shakib used leg-side swipes and Russell unfurled commanding swings from deep in the crease to collect boundaries. Even though Shakib raced to 12 off his first four deliveries, he later took singles to give the strike to Russell, who targeted the quicks to score 39 off 19.

Após o jogo, o treinador falou com a imprensa e afirmou que o revés não abalará os seus comandados para o Mundial de Clubes, cuja semifinal ocorrerá dia 17 de dezembro para o Fla – contraAl-Hilal-SAU ouEspérance-TUN.

-Para o Mundial de Clubes não vai abalar nada, zero. Nesse jogo os jogadores já pensando na semifinal, não podemos deixar de dar méritos ao Santos, uma equipe que jogou. Competitiva. Mas o Flamengo depois de ganhar tudo não há mais nada pra ganhar no nacional, para a maior parte dos jogadores, no subconsciente deles. Quando não é competitivo contra uma equipe, tem alguma dificuldade – disse o Mister.

Ainda sobre o tema, Jesus afirmou que os resultados no Mundial não irão “influenciar” em sua decisão a respeito de 2020 – se ficará no Flamengo após o contrato, a encerrar em meados do ano que vem, ou não.

– Tudo o que acontecer no Mundial não vai influenciar na minha decisão. Tenho contrato com o Flamengo, gosto do Flamengo e, portanto, temos que focar no Mundial. Depois vou para Portugal passar Natal com a minha família e, dia 22 de janeiro, é a apresentação para a temporada 2020.

MAIS SOBRE A MÁ ATUAÇÃO

Ainda na entrevista coletiva, Jorge Jesus também admitiu que a postura da equipe foi apática e com poucos jogadores “entrando em campo”. Até fez uma brincadeira, dizendo que nem ele estava enérgico, pois estava gripado.

– Ganhar é sempre importante, nós viemos para não perder. Mas taticamente o time estava meio desligado do jogo. Santos teve méritos, fez uma partida competitiva, quis ganhar do campeão, mostrar seu valor. Fizeram bem o que tinham que fazer.E o Flamengo fez o contrário. Somos campeões, não vamos arriscar nada, não vamos entrar dentro dos jogadores do Santos. Quando o jogo acabou, eles não estavam felizes, óbvio, mas o mais importante é que não tivemos ninguém lesionado.

Entrei com 11 jogadores. Dos 11, cinco ou seis entraram em campo. Os outros não conseguiram segurar o jogo – completou o Mister.

Agora, o Flamengo de Jorge Jesus passa a focar integralmente no Mundial. O clube deve chegar em Doha, no Qatar, até sexta-feira.

O elenco do Corinthians já está de férias há quase duas semanas, mas alguns jogadores têm utilizado o período para manter a forma física antes do retorno para a pré-temporada em janeiro de 2020. Um deles é Mauro Boselli, que utilizou seu Instagram para mostrar como está se preparando nesses últimos dias, tudo isso de olho na próxima temporada pelo clube.

Em dois vídeos postados em seus “stories”, o argentino aparece em uma academia fazendo exercícios para os membros inferiores. No primeiro ele está em uma máquina que reproduz movimentos de agachamento e no segundo ele dá saltos em uma caixa, muito comum em aulas de funcional.

A trilha sonora do vídeo é a música Stronger (tradução: mais forte), da cantora americana Kelly Clarkson, cujo refrão diz “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”, que quer dizer “o que não te mata, te deixa mais forte”, em português, ou seja, o atacante promete estar mais preparado para para a próxima temporada vestindo a camisa do Timão.

– Para chegar com tudo em 2020, @Corinthians – escreveu Boselli na legenda do vídeo postado, que também marcou o endereço do clube no Instagram.

Na próxima temporada, há a expectativa de que o argentino ganhe mais oportunidades como titular com a camisa corintiana sob o comando de Tiago Nunes, já que com Fábio Carille ele não teve a sequência que esperava e até cogitou a saída do clube. Em 45 jogos oficiais pelo Timão, ele marcou dez gols, sete no Brasileirão, competição em que terminou como artilheiro do time.
